How do I know that your products are genuine?
All of our products are guaranteed to be genuine. Our team has a keen eye for fake ones, none of them get to you.
What does VNDS & DS mean?
Very Near Deadstock (VNDS) - like new condition, lightly worn.
Deadstock (DS) - brand new condition, never worn.
Does Prolific Closet buy sneakers?
Absolutely, this is usually done in-store, and our interest is determined by the style, size, color, and condition of the item.
Is Prolific Closet open to trades?
If you are looking to sell or trade your sneaker or clothing items, please bring them in-store along with a photo ID. We only accept trades in person in the store. No guarantee we will accept every trade.
What factors go into determining the price of a product?
The prices on our website are based on market value. Prices in stores can be negotiated, but they usually reflect market value. (A few of the programs we utilize are Check.Check, StockX and Grailed.)
If an item is pre-owned is it the same as in the picture?
Yes,the picture of that item will be the exact shoe for purchase.
We upload several angles of the item, highlight any imperfections.

Consignments
What is the process to consign something using Prolific Closet?
Fill out the form on the consignemnts page. We will get back to you once your item is sold. Clothing, footwear and accessories are available for shipping.
How are consignors compensated?
Consignors receive payment in the form of a check made payable to the name on the shipping form.
How long would it take for my stuff to sell if I consign through Prolific Closet?
Depends on the demand and price of your item. We can’t make any guarantees on how long it takes to sell an consigned product. However items priced at or below market value will sell faster.
Shipping & Returns
Can you tell me about your return policy?
We do not accept returns or exchanges, and no refunds are given. Each and every sale is final.
How are out-of-town clients' purchases delivered?
We ship via UPS and give tracking information as soon as the packages are delivered to the UPS store or courier.
