Nike recognizes the important role that Atlanta played in the development of hip hop as part of its 50th-anniversary celebration of the genre, with the release of the Nike Dunk Low 'ATL.' The shoe is designed to reflect the city's vibrant music scene, with a suede upper in Picante Red accentuated with a translucent Bright Crimson Swoosh and University Red leather overlays. The lateral heel and sockliner feature a custom 'ATL' graphic and underfoot a clean white midsole is supported on a scarlet rubber outsole that provides excellent traction.
